A Frank Discussion on Sexism in America at
“In Defense of Womanhood†Townhall Meeting at Uplift! Chicago
Roland S. Martin moderates an esteemed panel
One of the must-attend programs of the three-day megaevent, Uplift! Chicago, will be the townhall meeting, “In Defense of Womanhood,†on Saturday, May 5th from 2-4pm at the McCormick Place, Lakeside Center, 2301 South Lake Shore Drive, Rm. E-253A.
An esteemed panel, moderated by Roland S. Martin, host of The Roland S. Martin Show (airs M-F, 6a-9a) and CNN contributor, will open the dialogue on the increasing presence of sexism in America and will offer thought-provoking analysis on this unresolved issue.

As the maltreatment of women continues to dominate conversations throughout the country stemming from the Don Imus controversy to the recently reported misogynistic rap lyrics by Chicago Bears’ top draft pick, Greg Olsen, this townhall meeting comes at one of the most crucial times.
