Roland on CNN’s Headline News today at 4:30 p.m. CST

I think it’s good that Sen. Obama told kids that he did drugs when he was young. And you can come from anywhere and have any obstacle in your way to beat the odds. Basically he is saying Hard Work and Dedication doesn’t come easy but your odds can be Beaten.

Warren Ballentine of WOL radio-one said on his show, that you are somewhat of a radical on your radio show in Chicago, and wonder why you are more poised when on CNN.

Although I have not heard your show, while I am in the DC area. I know in order for you to continue to be ON CNN, you must continue with the tone you have. You are still getting your point across and you also continue to speak the thoughts of the majority of Blacks. I pray that either we can get more of our well spoken people on CNN and other mainstream media, or somehow acquire a station of our own.

I don’t know what the hell Warren is talking about. I’m not radical on radio. I’m the same cat on CNN as I am on radio. I bring it regardless. I guess what he doesn’t realize is that I’m the HOST of my own show and I’m normally a GUEST on other shows. Second, I control the clock, so I can do my own thing. On TV, you might have five to seven minutes and there are two other guests and the host.

But the reality is that I’m poised on the radio AND TV. I don’t go off half cocked. I lay out my arguments, speak clearly and convincingly and go from there. That’s just the way I roll.

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article Roland on CNN’s Headline News today at 4:30 p.m. CST, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.

Roland I want to thank you for your honest coverage of the G-20 Summit. The American public, for the most part has lost so much faith in the News Media because of the lies the media produce. Fox News is a prime example of that. You have restored some confidence in the Media because of your honesty and fair reporting. Fox News has not given No credibility to President Obama since he came to office. My family and I monitor most of the news stations, yours being my favored and later compare notes on coverage. Fox News has yet to report it as it is. Thank you for your Professional Media Reporting.

Canadian news just recently showed roadways and bridges lined with flag waving Canadians honoring fellow Canadians arriving back home in flag draped caskets from Afghanistan. It was honorable recognition, deserving recognition. It moved me as I watched. And I thought how different from the secret,private way the US sneaks the bodies back into the country!!! Perhaps fearing public reaction? I applaud the Canadian way….

That Guy in the Studio with Lou is an Idiot! He is a failure in the way he thinks of the World. That
type of thinking has kept weak minded decent Americans have this social fear of anythink that is done or appears different. Thank God little minds like this guy do not dictate American policy.

I am sending this because I watched you, Ed Henry, and Ali tonite discuss President Obama’s first cabinet meeting and he talked about cutting spending on supplies etc. He talked $100 million here and there and so on. Ed Henry called this pocket change and I heard you and Ali talk about chunk change…..that is not change to me …that is a lot of money. That is the crux of our economic problems…greed. With that attitude it is no wonder we are in this mess. I wish I had that kind of change in my pockets. I think we all need to take a second look at how we spend and try to spend less, to be happy with less. We need a vaccine for GREED! I can’t understand people who are ready with a negative attitude every time President Obama does something. He is going here and there and everywhere and working hard to get this country back on track. Give him some credit. This is not a time for politics. You young squirts are still wet behind the ears! Dear Roland, I think that it is the parents job to to monitor kids activites, unless the kids are on the school ground. I think that parents have total control over their kids. Its not the schools job to monitor kids activites outside of school, because they are only teaching the kids not parenting them. Im a 10 year old 5th grader.

It’s time that Cheney retires ! Obama is not the only president that dealt with similar criminals from other countries. Remember in 1980, during Carter’s time in presidency – Fidel Castro sent many of his worst undersirable criminals in boats to the US (the Marielitos). We got stuck with them. Many of these Cuban’s refugees were the worst and undesirables to the US; many were criminals, murders and many with severe mental problems who were patients in and who’d been released from Cuban prisons or other institutions. The exact number of undesirables that arrived in the boatlift was as high as 140,000.00 and that is alot more than the 200 terrorists.

Cheney go home and retire and let Obama do his job…Cheney had his time and now it’s Obama’s time…

Remember in 1980 when President Carter had to place over 125,000.00 Cuban refugees (the Marielitos). Fidel Castro sent us by boat some of his worst and undesirables criminals, murders and some mental patients who’d been released from Cuban prisons or other institutions. President Carter dealt with this and we got the job done. So Cheney needs to stop crying because 200 terrorists is nothing….
