Roland
I take issue with your comment about being Catholic and hearing remarkslike pastor Wright --made because if those types of remarks had been made someone would have reported it to the Bishop or the Diocese . Every one knows you are Obama supporter and how dare you compare The catholic church homilies to Pastor Wrghts outrageous rantings of Hate. There is no excuse for the hate speeches -- no matter how you obama supporters try to sugar -coat it or explain it --or what is the word "context "-- it wil never go away -- what is in the heart has found its way out

Roland, am wondering if the media is not reviving 'dirty media lines' of 20th centruy...they are torturing people like me mentally with issues that promote hatred and racial lines..i think is high time the fourth estate see themselves as a sustainable tool/partner for good governance and as well make their profits...who have not sinned? Please keep up the good work!

Roland - what do you expect someone to do about the economy?

The current mess is due to too easy credit. It was bound to happen.

The Fed has been working to keep the economy out of recession with interest rate cuts and loans to banks.

What, Mr Know-it-all, do you expect a canidate to do? Or, is this just more useless chatter on your part?

Roland, I am beginning to believe that Senator Clinton is the "Sybil" of today, with multiple personalities. You never know from day to day, which one you will face. I cannot believe the many characteristic changes that she can go through in one day. And by all means, she is determined to win this Senate nomination, by whatever tactics she has to use. That is the only way that they seem to know how to campaign.

Roland:
I am completely outraged by Hillary's "scorch the earth" comments yesterday. She advised the press that the only two people in the race who have crossed the commander in chief threshold are John McCain and her. This statement tells me three things. First, Clinton has announced to all Democrats that if they do not nominate her, the Republican would be more qualified as commander in chief than her Democratic rival. As she well knows, if Obama gets the nomination, the Republicans will use her words against Obama. So, she has, in effect, agreed to be used in McCain's campaign against Obama. Secondly, it tells me that she puts her own personal desire to be the nominee above the party's desire to get one of Democrats into the white house. She has placed McCain above the party. If she can't get the nomination, no Democrat should! Thirdly, after making such comments, she could not credibly get behind Obama if he is the nominee. But, I am sure that she would expect the millions of Obama supporters to help her is she is the nominee. She will stop at nothing. This woman is behind in number of states, in the popular vote, and in the pledged delegate count, yet, she wants to go to the convention and argue that she should be the nominee.
All my life, I have voted a straight party ticket. I will not do that again. Why should I be more loyal to the Democratic Party than Hillary is? She will not get my vote if she is the nominee. She has pretty much stated that she would prefer 4 more years of Bush over 4 years of Obama. I have lost all respect for her.
