Bill O’Reilly calls me an apologist for Rev. Jeremiah Wright

Now, Rev. Wright was not a problem when Bill and Hillary Clinton was asking for his support and taking photographs with him in the Clinton presidency, but now it is a problem? The indignation of these two. That is why America is hated around the world, not because it is the most powerful nation on the face of the earth, but because of America’s hypocrasy. Fighting for other people’s freedoms, yet not protecting my own freedoms right here in America.

I seriously think I am falling in love. Please let us know if Bill calls you. Will you mention his calling you out on CNN? Or is that not allowed either?

I was just watching Anderson Cooper’s 360… I was so frustrated because I live in a different time zone and always miss the opportunity to comment..

Can I just ask why they (Hilary campaign and the media) are hanging onto this Rev Wright story with a put bull grip? Hillary Clinton’s remarks today about Rev Wright (in Greensburg PA my hometown no less) struck me as completely hypocritical and self-serving. Not that this is any surprise, but if Hilary thinks she in a place to judge a person’s intent or integrity, I have serious question.

If we’re talking about associations and when to leave and when to stay… Let’s just say that if my husband was Bill Clinton, I would have disavowed AND divorced the man a long time ago. Fool me once, shame on you. Shame me twice, shame on me. And Hillary apparently has no shame because if my husband had been charged repeatedly with sexual harassment and had engaged in multiple consensual affairs and was willing to humiliate me personally and lie to the point that my defense of him once the truth came out was seen as my stupidity and ignorance… well, I can guarantee you he wouldn’t be my husband anymore.

Let’s be clear: Reverend Wright is not running for President. Obama is not responsible for what comes aor has ever come from his mouth. And to be honest, I go to my church IN SPITE of how boring my minister’s sermons are. If it comes out that there is video of Obama saying something irresponsible, then you have a story. But this Wright thing is so over. If people want to talk seriously about race, class, etc… fine. But Rev Wright? He surely doesn’t deserve this from a country he served both militarily and socially. You don’t disavow an entire career for a few stumbles. And for the Clinton’s to even have an opinion is at best hubris, and at worst, it’s looking to be struck by lightening.

No disrespect, but a lot of white people don’t understand the Black Community or you are not willing to see that Black people may not have the same view of America as they do. We have common hopes, but equality in America is not for its entire people.
Caucasians make up 66% of America / Minorities make up 34% of America / Blacks make up 12% of that 34% of minorities. If the percentages and conditions were reversed I believe that their understanding would be different. (Blacks make up 70% of the inmates in American jails; remember only 12% of the population)
Both Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were great Black Americans and they were also friends. Blacks respect them both and hold them dear for their ultimate contribution of sacrifice. Martin was about non-violent protest and was called many disrespectful names. They called Malcolm a racist because he said “if they hit you, you hit them back” and he also called them “blue eyed devils”. Do they remember all the names black people were called back then???— I guess not. We don’t call Malcolm a racist… They DO! So, please tell them to stop using Malcolm X’s name if you don’t know his full story. They only use his name to create fear in less informed white people. (It’s Not Fair)
What did Malcolm X, Farrakhan or Wright ever do that actually physically hurt White people? Did they lead a massacre on white people? Did they dump drugs in the suburban neighborhoods? NO, NO, AND NO!!! They just spoke up! The same as Robinson and Farwell.
America has taken away or discredited all Black Leaders that have shown promise because of fear. Fear of _______??? You fill in the blank. America doesn’t mind if Black people follow Martin Luther King Jr., because he’s dead, and dead leaders can’t lead.
Let’s not forget the teachings of Willie Lynch. What names did they call him when he was teaching the methods of slavery, racism, torture, rape and murder? (RACIST)

Roland, Please have O’Rilley, explain why any group of people HAD to go through the history that Blacks have gone through in America. There was a people (Oppressors/white) and another group of people (Oppressees/black). And after all of this have we the Black people started a civil war??? NO, NO, AND NO!!! I dare him to reply. Study real American history, it was the pressure of from Black and White abolitionists, most notably Fredrick Douglass, Wendell Phillips, Governor John Albion, Rep. Thaddeus Stevens, Sen. Charles Sumner, and Senator Lyman Trumbull authoring the first Confiscation Act, which started the emancipation process. Sen. Trumbull, then authored the Second Confiscation Act, which freed the slaves of all rebels, and co-authored the Thirteenth Amendment, which actually freed the slaves.
I’ve heard NO DENOUNCING OR REJECTING of White Religious leaders who made similar remarks as Rev. Wright, and let’s not talk about the Catholic Church and child abuse!!! Did the members stop going to those religious institutions??? Did they call it a house of child abusing liars preying on Americas’ young? Think about it. Remember a little over fifty years ago black people were being beaten, spit on and cursed for trying to go to the same schools as white children (Brown v. Board of Education), etc., and there are still places in America minorities are not welcomed. Yes, there has been change, but not enough. Blacks take what we are given and they call it equality.
Remember, this government allowed Black men to have syphilis as an experiment, back in 1939 – 1972 and White people find it hard to believe that Blacks could think HIV was designed for Black people. We know our history! (Look at the aids epidemic in Africa) wow!
On the matter of leaving or staying in a particular church,,, a Black Church. Here we go again; it’s obvious a lot of people know nothing about the Black Community or the Black Church (sure). But they discredit a Black leader Rev. Jeremiah Wright and then they act so appalled. They can spin and play the sound bites any way they want, because they own the air waves. They can create fear among less informed White people (part of the 66%), but it’s not fair, when they themselves understand the sentiments of Black people and they know that things have to be put in context to have full and correct understanding. I challenge them and their cohorts to listen to the whole sermon, go to the Black State of the Union next year or to a Black Church. Would they prefer Mr. Obama go to a White Church? Or maybe they should circulate a list of approved Churches for the Black community.
At some point America has to come to terms with it’s past and teach real American History in our general schools. One principle we teach in church, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, what does this mean to them? American politicians can do anything to others and the people have to act like zombies! We can call them OUT!!! This is why our country is in such a felled state. WE THE PEOPLE MUST SPEAK OUT, WE ARE A GREAT PEOPLE AND A GREAT NATION, but we must hold our politicians accountable… If a preacher paraphrases current events to point out that our political climate must change, is he wrong? Bill Maher does it every week. Is America so sacred that we can’t voice our disappointments? Or is it that they have never experienced what a Black man in America has experienced. If a person is not Black then they can’t tell our story and we can not tell theirs, but we can respect each other. I do respect them. You know there are still places in this great land of the free that minorities aren’t welcomed. Ask O’Rilley if he is a member of any of those clubs?
Obama, is not aspiring to be the post racial unifier, he is aspiring to be the President of the United State.
Is being President an Entitlement? If it is an ENTITLEMENT to the 66%, and Obama must bleach his skin and act like he as no history, even though half of his history in White, and White people never call him a White man (?!#%$#@*?), then he should get out of this race, because that means America is a liar!
Think about our Children please. This America must unite on real things and get back to real pride and respect as one people or we are headed down an even darker path. You are a very intelligent and you understand what the make up of America will be by 2020 and 2050 (according to the census report). We must get to diplomacy and what’s right for the people of our country and get away from race or we will be heading to destruction. Our country can’t afford any more greed from the 1% to 5%. In regards to Malcolm X, most Black and White Americans do not understand that if it wasn’t for Malcolm’s hard nose, unapologetic, call it like it is approach to the solution, the US Government would have never taken Dr. King serious. Blacks were becoming volatile (and rightfully so), tired of the turning the other cheek, and began to follow Malcolm. Think about this, why won’t we make sure there are electronic voting machines with paper trails. Is it because of a secret ballot? HELL TO THE NAH. It is because, if and when an election needs to be overturned. It can and will be. Think of it as a form of eminent domain for voters. The votes will be sieze if the outcome threatens White America. With that said, if Obama wants any chance of a fair election he better start working on getting a paper trail or he is going to lose by 537 votes.

When Senator Obama’s preacher thundered about racism and injustice Obama suffered smear-by-association. But when my late father — Religious Right leader Francis Schaeffer — denounced America and even called for the violent overthrow of the US government, he was invited to lunch with presidents Ford, Reagan and Bush, Sr.

Dad and I were amongst the founders of the Religious right. In the 1970s and 1980s, while Dad and I crisscrossed America denouncing our nation’s sins instead of getting in trouble we became darlings of the Republican Party. (This was while I was my father’s sidekick before I dropped out of the evangelical movement altogether.) We were rewarded for our “stand” by people such as Congressman Jack Kemp, the Fords, Reagan and the Bush family. The top Republican leadership depended on preachers and agitators like us to energize their rank and file. No one called us un-American.

Hey Roland, Good Job, I listened to the sermon of Rev. Wright, and I was over joyed. He has told nothing but the truth, I only wish other people could hear the sermon, we listen to you all the time on CNN. He told them that he “would leave the church (Trinity) if Rev. Wright had not apologized and retired.” First of all Rev. Wright has NOT apologized..he is sticking to his creed of being “Unapologeticly Black”, and “Undeniably Christian”…. I RESPECT THAT. Why are we judging Barack Obama by the words of another man?

Reverend Jeremiah Wright served his country honorably as a U.S. Marine. As such, he has earned full rights under the Constitution of these United States of America. One of those rights is freedom of speech. This freedom of speech does not require consent or agreement from those being spoken to.

America must understand the point of view of a formerly enslaved and now oppressed people. When white men wrote the words to the Constitution that “all men are created equal” they saw fit not to include people of African descent who remained in enslavement. As a people who have felt the wrath of American Democracy for more than four hundred years, forgive us as a people.

After only forty years of freedom forgive us for sometimes thinking and saying what is perceived as “crazy” things yet all the while dying in every war ever fought for any and everything that resulted from Jamestown to Plymouth Rock including the army of the Confederate States of America through today’s war in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Though Crispus Attuck was the first to give his life and many others of African descent fought for Independence and in the War of 1812, in the Battle of 1815, the Civil War and the Spanish – American War, World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam and Gulf Wars I and II, we are still not fully accepted as truly loyal citizens of our country. We still live in a country that allows a symbol of insurrection and enslavement to continue to fly legally.

Did Senator McCain have to denounce his mother and her words regarding Mormons? Have we analyzed the past ten years of sermons by the pastors of Senators’ McCain and Clinton? Have they ever said anything inflammatory or controversial that we should know about? Should those candidates be held accountable for what their pastors have said? Are those candidates even identified with any specific church? Should McCain have to renounce and denounce Pat Robertson or Hagee and other controversial pastors that have endorsed him? If Obama has to renounce Farrakhan and Wright, why is there no call for McCain to renounce and or denounce inflammatory preachers who support him?

What frailty does white America believe exists in the hearts and minds of the descendants of enslaved Africans; that like the rest of America, we can go to any church, pray to any God, be preached to by anyone; leave church and then ignore everything that was said by the preacher and break the promises we made to God.

For over forty years, our government knowingly and with purpose infected the descendants of the enslaved with syphilis. In light of the Tuskegee experiment as it was known, America must understand why we look at the HIV/AIDS infection rate among African Americans with a raised eyebrow. America should understand why the descendants of Africans see the greatness of America through a different prism; enslavement, Jim Crow, Ku Klux Klan, Dredd Scott, Plessy, lynchings, police brutality, inferior educational and employment opportunities.

The test of whether we have made racial progress toward equality will be seen through future primaries. We must not allow the most segregated time in America to destroy the legitimate campaign of this African American, Barack Obama. No other candidate/citizen will have their love and patriotism questioned in this manner and overtone. African Americans believe that this is a negative legacy from the period of enslavement. What history suffers America to question the patriotism and loyalty of any Descendant of enslaved Africans. Only a Black person would suffer the indignity of being judged by the words of another.

If we have truly achieved equality, then we will judge Barack Obama solely on his character, his ideas and what we believe that he can offer in the rebuilding of America; and we will not use the words of one man to characterize the humanity of another, and all the while we continue to die for America.

The media has repeatedly aired the short clips of Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s rhetoric in attempt to discredit and smear Barack Obama. But what’s even more interesting is the fact that the media never discusses Hillary Clinton’s religion, which is extremely telling and even frightening. A closer look into her ‘religion’ gives one a clearer picture of why she is the way she is.In a recent article by Steven Brandt many truths about Hillary’s religion, called ‘ The Family’ will make you shutter. The question is….where’s the media on this one ?

Brandt writes, “You don’t choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend.” said Hillary Clinton, to reporters and editors of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on Tuesday the 25th. This is an interesting choice of words, since — while we mostly hear about her Methodist upbringing — Hillary Clinton has chosen to associate herself with The Family (also known as the Fellowship), a very conservative, fundamentalist organization started by Abraham Vereide…
“…an immigrant preacher who in 1935 organized a small group of businessmen sympathetic to European fascism, fusing the Far Right with his own polite but authoritarian faith. From that core, Vereide built an international network of fundamentalists who spoke the language of establishment power, a “family” that thrives to this day. A long article was written about Hillary Clinton’s participation in this organization last September in Mother Jones, and The Family, itself, was the subject of an extensive article in Harper’s in March of 2003. And on March 21st, The Nation published an article on Hillary and The Family by Barbara Ehrenreich that was published on The Huffington Post and CBS News’ web site.
The Family avoids the word Christian but worships Jesus, though not the Jesus who promised the earth to the “meek.” They believe that, in mass societies, it’s only the elites who matter, the political leaders who can build God’s “dominion” on earth. Insofar as The Family has a consistent philosophy, it’s all about power – cultivating it, building it and networking it together into ever-stronger units, or “cells.”

Is it possible that Hillary’s participation in this fundamentalist group — which apparently preaches the “gospel of military might” — would help explain her vote in favor of authorizing President Bush to attack Iraq? Is it possible her pro-NAFTA stance during her husband’s administration comes from its embrace of “the no-holds-barred economics of globalization”? Is it possible that the sense some get that Hillary feels entitled to be president comes in part from this group’s belief that “it’s only the elites who matter”?
I encourage any reporter covering Hillary’s campaign to ask her about all this.

At a time when so many people are wondering what sort of effect the Rev. Wright’s sermons may have had on Barack Obama, I think it’s only fair to ask what sort of effect The Family’s fundamentalist mission has had – and continues to have – on Hillary Clinton. We know that George Bush engages in truly fundamentalist thinking. There is no person or new information capable of challenging his belief that what he already knows is right. Is Hillary Clinton like this in some way? I am not sure.

But the opinion I have formed from this is that – while Hillary Clinton may be considered a Liberal by many – on the inside she is a deeply Conservative person… possibly as close to being a Republican today as she was when she was a young woman supporting Senator Goldwater. This helps explain, to me, why she and John McCain are such good friends. They are both drawn to the use of military power and free market capitalism… and to taking money from lobbyists. The other opinion I have formed is that those who say there are no policy differences between Hillary and Barack haven’t taken into account how their religious differences might impact the policies they would actually seek to implement as president.

It also makes sense why she could care less about detroying the Democratic Party. Also, beware of her claim to work toward ending the Iraq war. That is another great lie that she is telling. If you listen to her claims she commonly repeats ‘ I will start getting troops out within my first 60 days ‘…..How many ? 3….1000…10,000 ? Don’t be fooled. Hillary has no desire to end the war. She’ll bring 5 troops home then say that she kept her word.

The media should be called out for not exposing this cult. Problem is, they would also be revealing the truths about their fellow Republican’s plan and prayers to ‘rule the world’ by any means. So it’s up to us, regular Americans like you and I, to help spread the truth in spite of the media…..For The Re-Birth of America !

I did not realize your hate was with the US involvement with Israel. I don’t like it either. I feel it has caused our country a lot more harm that good. I would have no problem what so ever breaking all connections with Israel.

I’m certainly NOT saying I like the way certain powerful, US Jews seemingly favor Israel over the US. I don’t.

What I have tried to point out is that the Jews in America stress education, becoming a professional and/or running a business.

Other groups in our country, such as blacks do not. In fact, it is reported that in many black communities doing well in school is looked down on and considered “acting white”.

You can go on and on and on about reasons and responsibilty, but the fact is that if you want to get an education in America and become economically successful, you can.

The average Korean born in Korean who has come to live in the US makes more than the average American born in America. Why? Certainly Americans don’t favor Koreans over other groups. They work hard!

Come up with any blah, blah, blah, it is a fact.

If blacks want to bitch and moan about whitey, they can stay at the bottom of the economic ladder.

If they want to pick themselves up, they can. This is the most economically prosperous country there has ever been in the history of the world. Millions come to the US to make their dreams come true. But, blacks (for any reason you choose) choose to STAY AT THE BOTTOM. IT IS THEIR DOING, not the Jews, or the massas or anyone else’s!!
