    Row,

Now you know, you said something this morning! I don’t think the Democratic Party knows just how much of an attitude African Americans (black people) will have if Barack Obama don’t become the primary winner –real soon. It is going to look like the chosen people exiting Egypt again. There will be a max Exodus all over again to the Promised Land to be concord plain, hill, and valley. Think about it, four more of the same won’t make us worse; it’s going to make us just mad enough to create a New Republican Party. History of “the people” proves recreation is what we do! We am a new creation today – and a newer one tomorrow…

Everyone who votes for Obama…during all these primaries…we all need to unite and form a new party…a movement dedicated to the good of all Americans…we are all 100% American and that includes the total population of the over- taxed unrecognized and disenfranchised Americans residing in Washington D.C. …(I suggest NAP (New American Party)…why do our brothers and sisters in D.C. not have representation and citizenship…they all pay taxes…they are all just as American as all of the States…D.C. needs to be declared a State also…why are they being kept separated from the United States of America…I’ll tell you why(thanks for asking)…Because the majority of D.C.’s population is BLACK…Wake up Americans…and stand up for truth liberty and justice for all…if we don’t we are going to fall…and truth liberty and justice will be taken from us…without the foundation our house will fall…

Hello, Mr. Martin, I enjoy your commentary.

Just for the record, I am a White forty year old woman.

Why doesn’t Hillary gracefully exit the race?

The Clinton’s are desperate, under-handed and feel entitled.

How can Hillary say, that Michigan and Florida counts, when she was the only one on the ballot?

Barack Obama is Classy and has integrity to give Hillary space to gracefully get out of the race.

Can you tell where my vote will go? BARACK OBAMA!

I have been campaigning for Barack Obama and I know he will the BEST President America ever had.

    GO, BARACK!

Roland…I have come to respect and admire you via your numerous appearances on CNN. I was born and raised in Chicago but I have lived Michigan for most of my adult life, but have many ties to the windy city communtiy. The following is one of the numerous letters that I have sent to legislators concerning the sentiment that has developed among many African Americans during this historical primary process.

    Dear Congressman Conyers,

Although I doubt if you will give personal attention to my concerns, I felt it imperative to speak my mind concerning what I and many other Michigan African-American voters have concluded is an intentional dismissal of our relevance ( on Sen. Clinton’s part) as she continues on her quest to seize the 2008 Democratic Presidential nomination. Hurt feelings among African Americans does not begin to address the negative sentiment that has grown within our community toward the Clinton family overall. It is ironic that we as a whole supported President Clinton through thick and thin and now the Clintons in our opinion have stooped to typical republican type all time lows throughout
this process using numerous divisive racial undertones in their campaign strategy.

When you take into consideration the fact that both Sen. Obama and Sen. Clinton have similar stands on policy overall, their plea to super-delegates insinuating that Sen. Obama cannot get the “white blue collar vote” implies that Sen. Obama should not be the nominee because he is Black. The African American community is fully aware that a continuos insulting “elitist” depiction of Senator Obama by the Clintons (while knowing it to be untrue) was fed to prospective “white blue collar voters” in a deliberate attempt to paint him with the same brush that republicans have used against many of our democratic leaders in the past. But in reality that does not come close to the division that occurred when Senator Clinton praised Sen. McCain’s and her own experience and declared that Sen. Obama brings a speech.

The list of unscrupulous things that have been said and done is unending and I for one have lost my respect for the Clinton family. Senator Clinton may be intelligent but is it is evident that she cares nothing about the African American community because she has allowed her political ambition to define her true nature as a person that will do anything to win.

    Sincerely, Mrs. Jennifer Alexander

In regards to the beating of the black brothers in the City of Brotherly Love…now can someone tell me the sense of that statement…anybody listening in the MSM…we all need to look back to the 40′s and remember how no one spoke up for the jewish people…they were almost annihilated by the same tactics…no one spoke up against the injustices…if 15 or so cops pulling black men out of their car…knocking them to the ground…hitting them and kicking them…not reading them their Miranda Rights…did they even get a phone call which they are entiltled to as americans…or were they beat even more once inside the station…where no one could see behind the closed doors…this kind of tactic is going on all over america to our black brothers…just think of all the incidents that are not caught on tape…and when it is caught on tape the cops are just put on paid vacation for a while…cops should not be immune to the law just because they are “on duty”…cops that abuse the civil rights of the black brothers are at the same time abusing all of us americans…and they are abusing every principle this country is standing on…where is truth liberty and justice for all?…

In regards to HRC about her comment about having the “working white voter” is important to win this election. African American’s are too loyal to the democractic party. They are loyal to a fault. In her press conference where she said that the black vote was a given but the working white votes could switch for McCain, identified a problem. The democratic party takes black voters for granted. They figures they will always be there so there is no need to fight for their vote. African American voters where dismissed by Sen. Clinton. She is basicly saying that African American voters are not important because like sheep they will follow you anywhere. African American voters should scare the crap out of the Democratic party and vote Independt just to make the point that our votes cannot be taken for granted. White voters are loyal to themselves and their personal interest and will vote accordingly. Black voters are loyal to the democratic party even if they are hurt by them.

I love watching you on tv. You have such sound advise. I of course support Obama. He is what I’ve waited a long time for. For youre country and mine. I am a 58 yr. old white woman, live border side of Toronto and have a wonderful grandaughter that is mixed. She’s my sweatheart and my inspiration to get to know the African American History and fully understand culture, economics, soul and the backlash that has behouved them, first as slaves to America, then as ‘less than credible’ human being’s by the voice of the white population. I learned about the corruption forced upon them, the ‘not equal’ mentality of the ‘uppercrust’ of society. I learned, how inferior the children have portrayed themselves because what visual, verbal and behavioral cruelty is bestowed on them by the so called Superior Race.

I am part native, british, irish, and I have so much disrespect for this sense of entitlement the white politicians still think they have. I knew all along the Clinton’s were definitly racist. I heard that rumor 25 yrs ago. Globally, they feel the same. Americans for the most part, are the most racist country in the World. They do it now when struggling black or hispanic communities need help, they have a ‘pork barrel’ fund to keep that vote coming for them. It’s had to be that way to survive for the black, hispanic, asian and native Americans.

My family consists of Irish, Spanish, Chinese, Black, native, Norwegian, French Canadian, British. We all get along so great and love each other. My 3 children and 4 grandchildren, love Obama, Michelle as I do and pray this decent man wins the Presidency, bringing a more caring, inclusive global community.

I want to mention something about Jeremiah Wright. I love history, I also am a political junkie, and I wince when I hear what they do to Rev. Wright. Most, if not all is correct. They refuse to let it be known publically, and I know why. there still is such a corruption from the top, has been for decades, including even the CIA.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are part of that corruption since they were in College. It is there if people are willing to research, before you destroy a man’s character. Jeremiah Wright lived thru a period of time that frightened me as a young person. I was terribly afraid of America and the injustices occuring, my parents boarded draft dodgers at the time of the Vietnam War.

My parent’s were both veterens of WW11. How the democrat’s especially the Clintons let this happen or promoted this, after sitting in Rev. Wright’s pews half a doz times and had him to the WH on many occasions, knew Rezko and accepted donations from Rezko during Bill Clinton’s term and Hillary’s fund raisers is hypocritical. They set him up. Mr. Martin, even the silly comment’s by Wolf Blitzer about hamas hoping victory for Obama; I blog globally and all the countries I blog for support Obama. England wants their own Obama, I’ve heard from Sweden, France Italy, China, Ireland. It’s ok if hamas wants Obama, we all do.

I think that John McCain and the Republicans are missing a golden oppertunity. John McCain sould come to the Obama supports and offer them a place and a vioce in the Republican Party. It seems obvious to me that the Democratic Party’s superdelegates are hesitating in their support for Obama because they are trying to estimate how much of a backlash will occur if they don’t support him and go with their insider, Hillary Clinton. In particular they are concerned about how African Americans will react if they go with Clinton.

    John McCain should take advantage of this hesitancy on the part of the Democrats and meet with the Obama supports, African Americans in particular, an try to woo them. This will have a duel effecet;
First it will let all Obama supports know that they do not have to go along with a Democractic Party that does not respect the will of the people when it conflict with their long dreamed of goal of having the Clintons back in the Whitehouse and, Second; it would spark a fire under the reluctant feet of the superdelegates to follow the will of the voters and nominate Obama quickly before McCain gains any ground among the Obama supports.

If the African American community remains loyal to Obama and makes it perfectly clear that if the superdelegates go against the voters and nominates Hillary Clinton, then Obama’s supporters will not support Clinton. If the Democratic Party does not follow the will of the people and overides them by nominating Hillary Clinton then the Obma supports should look upon this action by the Democratic party as a clear sign that they are not interested in a true democracy or the will of the people. All Obama supports should rebel by either obstaining from voting for President or Voting for John McCain if he reaches out to them.

What really disturbs me is that some of our blacks believe in what Hilary Clinton is saying and the media. I am not going to name the black website, but I read some of the comments and they were so ridiculous and cruel about Obama, sayng he is a snake, he can’t be trusted and black people need to wake and see that he is a republican shield and he’s their boy.

These are the type of comments and attitudes that divides the black race.

Just read your commentary on CNN about the upcoming DNC ‘Rules & Regs’ committee. So happy I’ve found your blog & a way to listen to your radio program. I value your opinion greatly & it will be a treat to listen.

Getting back to the DNC ‘Rules & Regs’ committe, I hope for this time your opinion isn’t correct. Sure hope the meeting Saturday won’t be a ‘bloodbath’, but considering the stakes it just might turn out that way. This will be one of the ‘last ditch efforts’ of the Clintons.

I am truly saddened by this Primary race and the tactics that have been used. I totally agree with your assessment that the Clintons do not care about Democratic Party. They have demonstrated throughout this campaign that they are ‘in it to win’ & ‘win at any cost’ by ‘hook or by crook’.

Not only are the Clintons destroying the party but in the process they are destroying Bill Clinton’s Legacy. I used to think highly of the Clintons but now I am just left shaking my head.

Prayers are lifted up for Saturday.

I must say first of all I love your show. As for as Wrights and Pflegers comments, I feel the comments were true and I as a God fearing BLACK MAN no man of the cloth should apologize for what GOD put on his heart to say. Second I believe GOD should always be first, politician or otherwise. The world is in the shape it is today because there is a lack of unity in following GODS word.
