DNC rules co-chair: Florida Democratic Party refused to hold alternate primary

05/31/2008 7:34 am 52 comments

I have been telling you guys for months that it is wrong for the Florida Democratic Party to continue to assert that the issues with voters in their state was due to Republican intervention.

James Roosevelt, co-chair of the DNC Rules Committee, said that officials in Florida knew very well that them voting in the presidential race on January 29 would result in a violation of the rules.

He said that the DNC told the Florida Democratic Party last year that they could hold their own, state-sponsored primary, on February 5 or after, and the DNC was willing to pay for it.

But the Florida Democratic Party did NOTHING.

In March 2008, the same offer was made, but THEN the Florida Democratic Party said it was too late to do such a thing.

Now, the Clinton camps crows and crows about paying for such a primary NOW, and that the Obama camp has blocked their efforts.

But if these same folks actually cared about this issue LAST YEAR, then they should have spoken up. They should have put their money on the table last year. Like I said, Clinton didn’t know that she would need these delegates to catch up to Obama. Now that she needs them, she wants them.

Let me reiterate: the Florida Democratic Party could have easily decided almost A YEAR AGO to hold their own primary. But THEY chose not to.

So enough with the blaming of the Democrats. Had they spent March 2007 to February 5, 2008 planning for their own event, the voters in the state would not have been disenfranchised.

And let me reiterate that a number of other states held a GOP primary on one day, and a Democratic on another.

This is why I have refused to bend on the issue of the need for Democrats to stop putting all the blame on Florida Republicans. It also should be on them.

Please speak up for the Fl voters who did not vote in the primary. We did not vote because we were told our votes would not count. I am tired of all these people not regarding those voters who did not vote. Speak up for them!

    Roland -

Every once in awhile I agree with you. This is one of them.

Isn’t this about taking responsibility for one’s own actions and not blaming failures on others?

….what an idea……wonder if it will catch on?

    Roland:
My vote matters…my WHOLE vote matters…quit trying to make us suffer as voters of Florida.

Among the most precious rights and responsibilities of a citizen in a democracy is the right to vote. My vote does count and if it doesn’t then all those who died for our right to vote, died in vain.

    You can’t keep us down…
we rise up when you least expect it…
because we stand for the right thing…

    PS:
It’s not a bloodbath on Hillary Clinton’s behalf. Just count our votes in Florida.

I agree with you the Democratic party in Florida and Michigan created this mess and now Hillary is trying to benefit from it. When I say benefit from it, she is trying to come across as the “healer” or the person who fought for each state to be seated for THEIR benefit not her OWN. Which you and I know this is the reason for her and Bill fight for the seating of both states. I hope you make this clear if they choose to use you for commentary. This wasn’t for Michigan and Florida it was for Hillary and Bills benefit. It was purely SELFISH NOT THOUGHTFUL. WHY NOT ASK YOUR RADIO AUDIENCE IF THEY THINK HILLARY WAS THINKING OF THE VOTERS AND NOT HERSELF.

Yes, Sen.Clinton … now is wanting to change the rules, the same ones she agreed to when she thought she was an automatic shoe in… now when she has to face the truth, she wants to change the program..

as far as I’m concerned she has lost her credibility to do anything with fairness,.. continually she flip flops on anything and everything, and she will run to the gutter of options, and do anything, without regard for the damaged she does..

she’s on a tare, like a scorned women who will burn her own house down because she did not get her way, and the nation fall at her feet..

she is the least deserving on the Highest office of this nations, the only thing we can expect from her is a Gender change with the Same Bush delusions and smoke screens..

she does not even respect the party nor the party leaders, she is on a person ego glory mission.. and nothing in this world is more dangerous than a desperate person…
but she is simply showing the party how she will ignore them, the same as she did about the ahealth care issue when her Husband was in office…
She’s a woman on a rampage, for the elation of her own self illusion of being “Queen of something”

Our so called “democracy” is a joke. It makes no sense that we are in Iraq dying for them to have a democracy and we don’t have one ourselves. I watched the DNC decision today. I found myself getting very upset because several people related this to the civil rights movement. That is a ridiculous analogy and slap in the face to everyone who died for the advancement of black people. This is about Hilary Clinton getting what she wants. If it wasn’t going to benefit Hillary Clinton FL and MI would be a non issue. There’s no way either state’s delegates should have been seated. In my personal opinion FL and MI knew exactly what they were doing. The real way to handle this should have been to vote the fools out of office who decided it was a good idea to break the rules rather than causing all of this ruckus for the party. I live in FL and I voted on 1/29 knowing that my vote wouldn’t count. For me it was about the principle. I know MANY Obama supporters who did not vote. So now aren’t they the disenfrachised voters? The sad part about this is it’s not over. She will take this all the way to the convention and continue to make mockery out of herself. I am so unhappy with the Democratic Party that after this election I am changing to Independent.

  • Rob

I am a Florida Democrat and I voted in the primary and now I am really unhappy that my vote is only being counted as half a vote. I will remember this in November and may well vote for McCain.

I don’t care what the Democrats said or did or didn’t do; I only got one chance to vote and its being devalued.

i should have e-mailed this to you earlier….but the “Superdelegates” of MI & FL who were responsible for the violation of rules should at least voluntarily NOT exercise their vote — morally, they disqualified themselves.

If they won’t step up & take responsibility, their political opponents in the fall should emphasize THOSE “superdelegates” were the ones who disenfranchised their states, not the DNC or Obama!

  • http://nil Elly

I Thought the DNC made a fair compromise under the circumstances, they knew full status would not be on the table!
Hillary Clinton was fine with the status quo until she realized she was losing and then wanted the rules
changed in the middle of the game …well guess what ..Life does not work that way!!!
If she is honorable and devoted to her party and having party unity then she will accept defeat and gracefully bow out. We will soon find out if party unity means more or her own greed for power and big ego!!
personally I thought her supporters made spectacles of themselves at the meeting, acting like a bunch of unruly kindergarten kids and very immature.I said days ago on CNN that fan support could come back to bite the dems and it could turn nasty and it did. They should have had a closed meeting!
The super delegates created this fiasco…they could have ended it days ago but they all deluded themselves by saying how exciting this race was!
All I can say to her supporters is grow up!!! If you vote for McCain out of revenge then you deserve to wallow in the misery of 4 more years of Bush style government, more loved ones getting killed for
Bushs illegal and immoral war, taxes for the rich and poor economy!!!!

    so back to the subject of the blog;

The party gave process to engage the issues of the two states, that clearly violated the process that was agreed to by the members of the party who were running for office.

but for Clinton, to again issue a “veiled disrespect” for the party.. and it’s process.. is just another sign that she is not to be trusted in such a high office, she is not to be a dominant representative of the Party, nor should she even get another term as Senator.. she’s made a mockety of the whole deomcratic party and shown them in every way imaginable that she does not respect the party nor it’s rules, and she has no dignity to stand behind any signed pledges.. she has gone to the extreme of invoking the madness of assassination talk into the the race as a some desperate quest.. and it all exemplifies that a desperate person will do anything, and cannot be trusted to hold anything in trust, nor respect the nature of the party affiliation.. she has flat out lied over and over, and then blame it on fatigue, and anything else she can blame it on, She has tried to divide the people by gender, and by race and continue to push a self gratify program, she has ran the money raised into the debt category in desperation after desperations, which someone has to pay for, because it won’t come out of her pocket, so what does she care .. if she can chase self glory at the expense of the people..

she has shown there is no amount nor limit to the malice she will invoke, and if she can’t get what she wants, she will rally the people into anarchy and chaos of any demeanor that suits her fancy..

The other candidates, had the dignity to know when to quite.. both on the Republican side and on the Democratic side.. but Hillary.. has no sense of dignity.. she thinks it was her ” golden spoon” to have this given to her… when and she is set to try and destroy anything and everything, to get her self aggrandizing glory..

Everything about her methods and process has been a sham and a process that undermines the national party and it’s objectives.. and the process of nominating a candidate…
She represents in such manner, the least of what this nation needs as a premier leader.. all she does not is add more damage by every word that comes out of her campaign addicted mouth…

she’s like the ” bull headed people” that we see who continue to disrupt and divert the progressive path of this nation.. and she shows over and over and over that she has no party regard, she has only personal concerns to get crowned “Queen of something”.. and her whole posture and stance, is nothing more than a Gender changes of what the current administration is all about..

Roland: I agree with your comment about Florida. I am pleased that a solution was reached because I believe their votes should count. I’m just sorry there wasn’t a way to punish the people responsible for changing the dates, instead of the people of Florida. Anyway, I think that Senator Clinton is acting like a spoiled child. Because she is losing the primary, she keeps wanting to change the rules and take the fight to the Convention. When is she going to stop this insanity. This is the person that wants the American people to make her President. I’m still very annoyed about her comments why she is staying the race, in case something happens. How disrespectful. And, she wants people to believe that she was trying to make a historical reference. Horse Hockey. And lastly, I pray that Senator Obama does not choose her as his running mate. If that happens, as much as I support Senator Obama, I will not vote in this campaign.

  • Amuri1823

What really puzzles me are the cries of “you stole my vote” from Florida and Michigan Clinton Supporters, as well as the assertion that Sen. Obama was somehow responsible for the outcome regarding Michigan. Neither he nor the DNC Rules Committee a part of the decision made by the governments in both states to host their primaries before February 5th. I know it’s easier to be angry at the person infront or beside you, however, they need to point and focus their dismay at the state officials and ultimately themselves for voting for said officials.

people should not come up talking about they won’t vote because of this or that.. you vote for the issues you support …

not voting proves nothing, but a person being selfish, and if they don’t get what they want, they won’t try to at least vote to get the best among what there is to get..

you either are a person who engages the process or you are not…

As an early supporter or Senator Clinton I am now more afraid of the idea of her as president than I ever have been of McClain. At least McClain had the “respect” to suck up to his party and his base in order to fairly win his nomination. Senator Clinton and her husband had demonstrated a dishonesty, and deep sliminess that is beyond belief. They have used every divisive wedge that they can to divide the party, spit in the face of party rules…..rules that they agreed to when they thought they would easily win the nomination. The DNC is stacked with people that owe the Clintons, and this “compromise” was the best they could do without blatently bowing to the dictates of the Clintons.

Hillilary Clinton has revealed herself to be without scruples, ethics, honestly and fairness……in other words she is just another Bush Republican.

I look for her to somehow be given the Democratic nomination when everything is over, and when this happens it will be the beginning of the end of the current Democratic Party establishment. McCain will easily win the opportunity to expand the Bush presidency for another 4 years, but, at the end of it all, maybe Americans will learn to think for themselves and understand that race, class and gender divisions are ploys to keep the powerful in power.

    God Help America!

  • Eldressg

Roland- Once again, you bring out the truth. I truly appreciate you and your accuracy in reporting the truth. I agree with all that you have said in reference to the local Florida Democratic party having held their own primary. They had enough time. But they thought…….

    Here’s my version.

The issues here are honesty, integrity, character and of course- following the rules. “Hell”ary thought she would have this nomination rapped up based on “old polictics” methods. That’s why she agreed not to campaign in Michigan and Florida(along with the other candidates) because she felt it wouldn’t matter because she would have the delegates and the nomination by February 5, 2008- WRONG! When she realized that there was someone else in this race who not only had an organized campaign; a vision and a plan, but it was WORKING! Record turn out at the polls, new registered voters of all ages and nationalities, Republicans voting in the primaries for a democratic nominee, independents being drawn into this movement of CHANGE. He won Iowa; he had a strong lead in New Hampshire until she worked up some tears. At that point, I said…”OH here we go.” I knew at that point that she did not have the best interest of Americans at the forefront of her campaign. Then there was South Carolina….oops! Bill had to put his two cents in…Once again, this man with a plan came out on top. He wins again and again. Woooo…” I am behind. I am going to need those delegates from Florida and Michigan. I am so behind.” This is about me getting the nomination. I deserve to be president of the United States. She appeared to be running this race for her own selfish gain and position. “Hell”ary, you can’t change the rules in the middle of the process. Rules are established for a reason! To Be followed! I originally was leaning toward voting for Hillary until she began running a negative campaign. The little respect I had for Hillary is now null and void. She has shown a side or should I say the true side of who she really is. I don’t trust her. This is a person who would go so low that she would almost eat the dirt and mud she is slinging just to fulfill her personal agenda. She has divided this party and to those Clinton supporters.. You need to wake up and smell the coffee. You need to stop whining about “my vote should be counted.” Hillary does not care about you or me. She only cares about herself! How low can you go Hillary?? What about those who did not get out and vote because they knew their votes wouldn’t count? I believe the leaders in the Florida Democratic Party should be held accountable and reprimanded.

I have been a registered Democrat for years, but have not always voted for the Democratic nominee during general elections. I am one who had lost confidence in the system and process, and really began hating politics. But that organized nominee, brought back a good feeling and excitement about voting that I hadn’t experienced in years. However, after seeing this primary go this long and after watching the DNC ruling, I was somewhat embarrassed. Iknow that the Republicans are high fiving and laughing at us. I asked the question…”How did we get to this point?” Oh! I know-”Hell”ary. She wants things her way. Even with these feelings, I am still going to vote. My point is that this race is not about our feelings, or the candidates, but about the issues and circumstances that are gravely affecting our nation. After watching this primary, I know for a fact that when this election is over in November, I will register as an independent. I will conclude that we need a person in office that we can trust, who has the American people interest at heart; a person who values his character and walks in integrity. Let’s get pass our differences and unite so that we can bring this country back to it’s original state.

A CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN!

  • Martha Williams

    Mr. Martin,

Thank you for bringing out the truth. I think someone needs to challenge Sen. Clinton on her words when she was ahead in the race. Not the people who speak for her, but go directly to her and ask her why did she make that statement at that time. Everytime Obama makes a statement the air waves go crazy and when she makes a statement only a select topic comes up. I feel sorry for the voters in MI especially since their leaders caused this mess and the govenor IS a Clinton supporter. There’s only one thing I have to say “When GOD is with you, the devil cannot harm you”. I don’t know Sen. Obama’s heart, but I believe his words regarding his faith and I feel in my heart that GOD will protect and he will move forward to become out next President.

I’m sorry but I don’t feel that Michigan had anything coming. After watching Carl Levin defiantly admit that Michigan KNOWINGLY and WILLFULLY broke the rules because he is mad that NH and IA always get to go FIRST?? He threw his party, the process, the primary and the candidates under the bus to make a POINT? I understand his point and his frustration with the party ignoring him. But he had no right to hold the primary hostage!! Why aren’t the people of Michigan mad at HIM? This was HIS fault not Hilary, Obama or the DNC. I think he should resign at best and at least be censured or whatever you do to politicians who intentionally break party rules for their own personal agenda. Michigan aren’t you at least a little offended by Levin’s actions? His actions said “screw you, my personal political agenda far outweighs your right to vote”. I hope at re-election time Michigan remembers all the politicians who put them is this position.

well the acts have been engaged in the Florida and Michigan issue, we know if Obama had been loosing and tried to get them seated, he’d have been told flat out, that the rules are the rules and end of issue..

but the nature of things may not be much different than the minister spoke about, but it’s always an outrage, when it’s spoken in some arenas, but .. ministers in church can say what they want, it’s their podium, and the members on no church, takes everything ministers say as their own words, they may hear something but they don’t have to aspire to it…

but either way… by Tuesday this mess should be over..

and all of it goes down as history… now what people learn from history, may be less than what history hold to teach… but it’s the choice of the individual to learn and what they learn from what become history..

  • Madison

To those of us who have followed the evolving details of this election process, we have an important responsibility to continue to think clearly. Whether folks are attempting intellectual sabotage or falling to deception, people have expressed opinions that defy reason. But then again, leadership has always demanded that same responsibility. It was maddening to see the events unfold over the weekend, in particular, the final diatribe by Harold Ickies, but those of us who see the larger picture must continue to refuse responding in kind – while holding on to principles and leading onward.
People will continue to push for aspects of our continual struggle that matter to the extent that humanity itself matters, but if honored fully, will take us in a hundred different directions. It is simply not possible to take 100% of everyone’s view and blend them together into a cohesive path.

Moreover, while the world watches, their expectation is that the way we campaign is a precursor to how we will govern. Will we follow the rules of the world we create, or will we change them mid-stream to suit our needs–using previously unvoiced principles to justify the changes? Will there be one rule for the United States and another rule for everyone else? Or will we agree to principles up front and stick with them?

To those of you ready to lead, let’s keep our Eyes on the Prize, work with those who can lay aside raw feelings to pursue the larger goal, and fight the intellectual dishonesty that can threaten it all.

The alternative vision is not an optimistic one.

You are so right ! I wonder if the case were reversed if Hillary had all the requisite votes ?? She’d be crying foul –that the rules are the rules, etc.

Roland, I want everyone to remember what happen, the rules were broken, and every one from Florida & Michigan should be upset with your state for breaking the rules. Now think about this, if Hillary were so concern about every vote counted, she should have spoken out for you in February, why not, because she did not need your vote then , but now she do.I belive that every vote should count according to the rules, The DNC mad sure the Fl & Mich counted. But Hillary is now acting like the great defender for peoples vote rights. Hillary is a much better person than, what she allow herself to become. I have respect for Hillary but, as she continue to display this selfish will not to do what is right for our party, my respect is at a lost for her. we must come together as one strong democrats and take over the white house this fall, we can allow another Bush-like Mccain to ensure 4 more years of down fall. It time for change.

I’m tired of all this mess. All Michigan and Florida had to do is vote at their scheduled times like the other 48 states and territories had done. I have no sympathy for Michigan at all. They didn’t have a republican gov. starting mess, in fact only Clinton was on the ballot. What kind of election is that? That sounds like the old communist block nations. The Clinton campaign got everything that they had asked for except that Obama was given the undeclared delegates. In addtion, they’re playing the gender card now. Clinton is a big cry baby.

I hear people on here saying that might vote for McCain because they vote count as a 1/2 vote. But the Republican voters vote count as a 1/2 vote. What are we saying.

Man, I be on Sodahead.com and I tell you blacks, hispanic and anyother ethic group better wake up. It is so much racist in our party that I am scared to be called a Democrat. But, Repulican has way more then we do. That why you have not seen a black man nor a woman run for the President spot. Only Secretary of State to make it look like they care somewhat about men and women.

If Bill Richardson would have gotten this for and the hispanic would have voted for him in mass what will she done then. If I was Obama I would get Bill Richardson to let american know that we can have diverse group of ethics in the white house. Black mix with white, and Indian mix with hispanic.

  • Andrew Howard

    Mr. Martin

This maybe the wrong place to ask these question, but you are the only person that I believe that is not afraid to talk about this. Who were the people that the DNC warned in Fla., and Mich. that if the move their voting date up that these states will lose their delegates or votes and they move the date after being warned. Who were these people? These are the people that fail the people of those two states. The DNC Party should have to suffer because someone in these two states fail the people.

Sen. Clinton should be ask why did she go campaigning in these two states when she agreed not to do so? Sen. Clinton is asking the people of these two states to be dishonest and she has brain wash the people. It is wrong of her, totally dishonest, I’m shame for her. Sen. Clinton knew this before the voting started she should have said something before a single vote was cast.

It would be great if the Troll.. is removed from this site, and the discussion of the issue can continue with people actually contribute commentary… Relative to the Primary discussion..
We have as a people engaged the consideration of Michigan and Florida, and the result have been put in place.. Now with The remaining Primaries, We will tonight, have this stage completed, and can move on to build the unity of the Democrats to move in process to defeat McCain and the Bush warmongering and the resistance to talk to the rest of the world..
We can go forth and get out of this process of trying to colonize Iraq and dominate their land and influence their government. We can move away from trying to set up and take over their country for the sake of Oil and control of it.

We can now get to working on this country and it’s massive problems, in every category this nations is finding and coming to realize that it is a broken country, on the edge of loosing it’s world position on the dignity level, We need not worry about power level, because our debt is far too great, with far too little Industry and progress wage structure to move us ahead..

so we need this Administration change, and Leadership change that values this nations with positive focus.. and not driving it further in the ground with saber rattling and trying to instill fears in people, and make people weak to the drives of mad men on a military mission, to dominate something, while their own home suffers…

McCain and Bush, should have read Sun Tzu..”the Art of War”… they have violated everything it has stated, which has come to be the truth this nations faces.. of being ill prepared to even consider war, and then to engage in one so protracted on foreign soil..

Now let’s move ahead and as people get your friends out to vote in the fall.. and let’s get these nation destroyers out of office and get nation builders and strengthening leadership in place.

Well.. the Nomination is now set.. and the nation can move ahead with it’s unity for the better of this Nation.. one more giant step and that’s the win the general election in the name of hope and change and prosperity… We may be well on line to becoming a nations that can regain the massive amount it has lost over the past 8 years, in regards to integrity, and the character of a nation..

It’s time to take America in a different direction, and no more the path that erodes the Constitution, and spend it’s wheels with deception and malice in how it deals with the American people.. and arrogance can now be gone about how we deal with other nations.. when the general election is held, and the people who care for the humanity of life will vote out the GOP… and work to turn this nation back over to the people of this nation..

Amazing things, Hillary got Michigan and Florida Seated.. but even as all other candidates, conceded their loss, and move aside, Hillary is fighting beyond the point the Nominee has been selected.

Sadly what her actions do is bring question to her past actions, which is her invocation about “Assassination comment, and the many other things that have taken place.. As one commentator said, she did everything but offer the Vice President slot to Obama..
but as one guy said, Obama would have to hire a food taster, if he selected Hillary as VP.. and another commentator, put it in it’s true light… saying.. Hillary evidentially thinks that the Office of President, will be a “coalition” dual run office, if she gets her way..

It’s time for the Party to reel her in, she has done a great damage to the Party, and continues to pursue to do more damage, she has no respect for the Party in the higher level of being a member of the Party…
there is no forward movenment for her, does she not understand, that in a race, there is a winner, and a looser, and she was not the winner. She again spoke of division, and denoted it with continual commentary..
She is the “beacon” of disunity, she is the creator and the motivation and continues to instigate such. divide.

She is an insult to the women, who care to work with systems and work as a individual who is part of the system.. She conducts herself as a scorn woman, who will destroy what she can’t have, and make a house of hell, if she don’t get her way.. she sadly is fitting the stereotype of .. how women, makes houses, places of hell and filled with contention, by her selfish quest, that respect nothing but her wants… this is such a set back to women, in the contex, that many women want to move away from being viewed as such.. But Hillary’s actions, point to why there may be many divides even in personal homes, by the act of her as being a woman.. making hell, making conflict and then screaming from a podium.. “what does Hillary want”.. becase Hillary refuse to accept, the delegates did not go for her, and they did not select her… and her acting like a scorned woman who did not get what she want.. is so symbolic of what and how .. many women make relationship hell and destroy marriages, based on what they want, more than what is good for the home and relationship…

Now people can see the lay out clearly.. and hopefully, women learn from this, and work to not be such a self concerned person and individual, and not make things hell, when they don’t get their way.. and Just as this party could be unified, if she accept her loss and move along, the same is true in personal relationships and marriages… when women don’t get their way, they make the marriage hell and divorce is imminent, because her divisive acts and actions.. won’t accept that it’s not all about her..people can learn a great deal by what has taken place..

but as to Hillary, has shown she is no different than Bush, he did the my way, or highway.. and now Hillary has shown herself to be nothing but a gender version change of the same demeanor.. He has no regard for the congress, and neither does Hillary.. she’s shows that over and over, and she showed in true to form display.. last night.. And she is not what this country needs as a leader, not a third term of Bush as in being a gender switch.. but the same demeanor.. and that’s self concerned and no respect for anything but her own agenda..

the women of this nation, should be outraged, at the insult she has show of the women she claim to represent.. by her .. obstinacy.. and her selfish.. display of the ” scorn woman syndrome”.. that will destory anything that she can’t have, and make the house a place of hell, for the sole sake of her selfish wants.. because she “expected” to get something, of which not only have the Party denied to give, and the people chose not to support her getting it.. and she is ready to attack and destroy all she can… and this.. is far too close to the symbolism.. of how homes are destroyed on the personal level… Women who want to be different people and not selfish people, who destroy what they can’t have… should speak out.. and make their voice heard, that she is insulting them and the nature of woman.. Goodness.. what a sad day.. when she does this and claim to represent an image of many woman… and many women don’t want to be seen.. under such a light, and many woman don’t aspire to live in such a way.

now, people can see how she lost the health care bid when she was First lady, by her same disregard of the house party of the democrats, by not giving them their right to weigh in, and she did her lone wolf, ignore the party push.. and derailed a bill that may otherwise have found success, if she knew how to work with the party…

Truth shows itself, always if people pay attention… and she is showing that she is not a party workers, but a seeker of self glory, at any expense.. and claim it’s for the people.. but she does not respect the call of the people, as was seen when the delegates selected their choice.. if people pay attention.. they will see she regards none of them.. she feels, that she is “queen Hillary” and everything belongs to her, even when the people say NO>

touch – good to see you’re fianally using some upper case letters! I’m so proud!

You’ll get there! I know it!

Obama – heard him speak today to Jews. It was as if he was the greatest Jew supported of ALL time! No wonder he has a brown nose with all the ass he kisses.

Please keep score. Let’s see what he is able to acomplish, other than winning the Democratic nomination, he has not done a single thing politically.

Somehow, I have a feeling that if he does some good, you will claim it is because he is 1/2 black and proof that if only white people would like blacks rule, they would rule and not live in ghettos, have 70% illegitimacy rate, speak in Ebonics, live in the Welfare cycle, etc, etc, etc.

And, if he does not – the old standby -

When Obama gets elected, do you think he’ll make blacks learn how to write and speak English or do you think he’ll make Ebonics the official language of the good ol USofA so dumb asses, such as your self don’t have to ‘act white’ and learn things?

    Wha does yo dink?

We all know who you are W. Johnson. You are indeed Willie from the hood known as Slick Willie. You are an “angry black man” perpetrating as someone else. You are blacker than most, darker than you will admit, and have African features you will not acknowledge with a given last name by the plantation owner Mr. Johnson.

Now there—look in the mirror, read it and weep!

Who is Willie?? General Patton’s COWARDLY DOG. YOU SAID IT I DIDN’T!

    Oh!!

Guess I need to get my mirror fixed. Makes me look WHITE, you bumbling idiot!

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article DNC rules co-chair: Florida Democratic Party refused to hold alternate primary, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.

    Daniel -

I couldn’t understand some of your comments.

Would you stick your head up your ass and repeat?

    Thanks

I find the comments of Roland Martin way off track on “Our world with Black Enterprise. He said that only White CEO’s of record labels were responsible for the N word being used in lyrics. All Roland had to do was look at CEO Chuck-D three seats away to find at least one Black CEO endorsing and profiting from N word lyrics as the front man for record artist Public Enemy. Comments like Rolands prevent a community from healing itself by trying to blame others. No doubt, when exploitation to make money enters an equation that there are people ready to profit regardless of race or gender. Mr. Martin’s comment took away from your message “What have you done to solve the problems in your community” Roland has thrown blame to another community. If we all did that we would never move forward. My advice to Roland is to stay above the blame game and provide solutions.
