This guy is called a what? Talk about self-serving. This guy passes himself off as a columnist, reporter, pundit, judge………………commentator, politician, whatever, and lauds the misdemeaners and unethical processes of position, money and acts of his elite friends.

To say that to get a good deal on a mortgage loan is the same as having your friend slip you a free hamburger at a McDonald’s is pretty bizarre. A movie ticket versus a lower mortgage rate?

Mr. Martin has somehow arrived at the VIP level, so to him, its no biggee that our politicians and athletes seem to have a monopoly on “its who you know” and “who I am” benefits, so its an insignificant act of kindness in his eyes.

It bothers me to see Mr. Martin defend “deals” like this by saying “we’d all like to be VIP’s. When we can’t afford something, we have to go without. The “special interest people” are the ones who also get these same mortgage lenders and banks out of trouble when they go belly-up. They’re no different than lobbyists buying their company’s wishes. They always repay their contributors for their good deeds.

Mr. Martin is so obviously mixed up on good and bad, right and wrong because he obvioulsy has gotten a few good deals himself and feels he’s earned them. Our newly nominated King has promised to change all this, and see that us low lifes are treated equally as well. Well we know this isn’t possible, since we low lifes are the ones making up the difference these special rates create.
Like every other topic Mr. Martin gives his authority and expertise on, he’s blindsided by his blessings and wealth. Its hard to be compassionate or humble when you are one of the VIP’s. I can’t wait until January of 2009 to see how many of the promises of equality the new king will bring forth. I already see flip/flopp’n in the speeches.

Mr. Beck and Mr. Dobbs are looking better more and more, at least I know they’re not self-serving.

Roland, Obama should tell McCain to forget about town hall meetings. Have a debate at Giants Stadium, . Heinz Field, RFK Stadium, Rose Bowl, LA Coliseum etc etc its 2008 and this election is too big. Peace!

Imus suggested blacks commint a disproportionate amount of crime. Gues what ? They do. Read the DOJ statistics. Seriously, do read the statistics. Or, don’t read them and keep your mouth shut. Blacks do commit a disproportionate amount of crime., and that is a problem. Mostly, that is a problem for fellow blacks. But, that is a problem for every American. If you don’t name the problem, you can’t solve the problem. Please don’t blame poverty. You think China isn’t poor ? Chinese cities don’t have nearly the crime of American cities. Please don’t blame racist police, prosecuters, and judges. You know, many of those are black, especially in the cities. The problem is Black culture. Absent fathers. teaching your children to hate and fear white people. You think white people are racist ? How did Barack Obama win the democratic nomination ?

My question to you is why doesn’t the main stream media, including cnn talk about the fact that John McCaine was the first to go back on his word as far as public financing is concerned? All I hear is stories about BO rejecting that type of financing…….
