Politicians and the American people don’t have to fight yet they want the Taliban out. American troops want more boots on the ground. Support POTUS and our troops and bring them home!!!!!

I hope the President emphasizes the importance of the Military objective of the increase in troops. I just listened to your Republican counterparts say that the President shouldn’t be worried about an exit strategy but making the other guy look for an exit strategy. They obviously don’t appreciate history and specifically the history of war in Afgahanistan! Let them lead and we would be in a perpetual war for generations!

I don’t personally support the surge but I know it’s necessary to do. If the President cuts and runs they would have something to say bout that. To the David Gergen would you support the President pulling out the war now? All the critics say he’s making the wrong decision however they would not support him pulling out either! Once again President Obama is damned if he do and damned if he doesn’t!

This is why you shld just be live on TV1 at least you’d be able to speak. Unfortunately, the pundants that CNN always give alot of airtime to tend to undermine and change the point of what President Obama is speaking and put their own interpretation on what they feel is the mission which is the exact opposite of what the President states. I hope you are brave enough to set the record straight. And re-iterate what the President said!

Roland, you were the only voice of reason on the CNN panel last night. Thank you. The ultra left thought Obama was going to be a push over. I am so glad he just does what he thinks is right for the country and doesn’t try to please any one group.

Barack Obama is not only a charismatic president but he is a very intelligent and smart person too. I congratulate him for winning a Nobel Peace Prize .
