Was Harry Reid really wrong? Many may not openly admitt it but Obama is President simply because he is black and articulate. Not all black men because they are black would have gotten the vote. Who would you vote for Flava Flav or………..?
When are we going to stop seeking approval and needing to be like and have what white folks got? We have been BLACK since forever. James Brown-”Say It Loud I’m Black and I’m Proud”. Have we forgotten? Or do we really know what that means? White folks will let you think you are apart of the/their circle and then show you at every chance they get that to them you are still just a nigga. Tiger Woods. Yes I said it. Did the white man back in the 80′s approve the term African American when Jesse Jackson first said it? We walk aroud being ” colorful” as we like to say because we don’t have our own identity, only what the white folks allow us to be. We are all over the place trying to find our own true culture, race, voice. And when you see one of us trying to carve out our own niche’ you also see the so called African Americans dogging them cause they want better. Is there any truth to the Lynch papers?
Stop looking for President Obama to save our azzez. The man has been in office less than a year and we got an attitude cause he ain’t done nothing for the black folk. Ooops! Black or African American? Bush was there for eight years and Black folks were ducking behind Al Sharpton. Do something for yourself. New Orleans stop complaining. You got money use it. But naw, you too dayum busy trying to build bull and you are cutting off your hand to spite your face. We know the real deal about that situation. Sir your numbers will shoot through the roof if you stop the political bull and speak to the real black folk.
When those white folks get tired of Michael Steele he will be out and nothing will be done about it. He then will be black again and not African American.
