Michelle Malkin republishes FLAT OUT lie about me; clearly can’t do basic journalistic job of fact checking

I just came across conservative blowhard Michelle Malkin’s syndicated column with Creators and I am absolutely FLABBERGASTED.
Malkin, who clearly didn’t do her own research, repeated a false assertion she read in someone else’s blog that I wrote an editorial on my blog raising the race of the victims in the Alabama university shooting.

That is an ABSOLUTE lie!

In fact, Malkin clearly LIFTED this from a blog written by Jonathan Curiel. I wrote him this: “You need to run a correction. I DID NOT write a column with regards to the shooting in Alabama. I have not given interviews on this story and have not commented on it on TV or radio. We post articles and columns written about the shooting. You need to doublecheck your sources on this. My suggestion is you find the post, look at the bottom for “click here to read the rest of the story.” and go from there. I expect to see this removed by the morning.”

When notified of this egregious error, he posted this on his blog: “Thanks for pointing out my mistake. It has been corrected.”

She didn’t bother to fact check it for herself. She showed that she is a lazy journalist who was willing to pass off someone else’s “work” as her own.

And I can’t believe that Creators would not check out such a pathetic comment when she is writing about a fellow Creators Syndicate columnist.

I have demanded an apology from Malkin, through Creators, admitting she lifted this and actually didn’t research this herself to verify it’s veracity, and I want an apology from her editor on this as well. And I want a correction sent out to every paper that carries her column, and Malkin MUST write a correction on her own blog admitting to her error and apologizing to me.

I am absolutely offended with her inability to perform a basic task of a journalist of verifying something first before you repeat it!
