TJMS: Roland Martin Talks With Tony Watson, CEO of Clean Beach Technologies About Company, Cleaning Gulf Coast Beaches

Roland Martin talks with Tony Watson, CEO of Clean Beach Technologies. Clean Beach Technologies has a patented non-toxic, environmentally safe, chemical that rapidly separates oil from sand. The chemical weakens the bond between the oil and the sand and then displaces the oil entirely by attaching itself to the sand.

The separation system is comprised of a closed loop system that can be scaled to process any amount of oil sand desired. Their system recovers 200 barrels of oil per load. Clean Beach Technologies’ recovery process completely removes all oil from the sand so that there are no toxic tailings.
