TJMS: Punk Politicians Won’t Tackle Immigration, Illegal Immigrants Aren’t Going Anywhere

07/29/2010 11:17 am 1 comment

Yesterday an Arizona judge blocked most of the Arizona immigration law. Roland Martin discusses the ruling and the issue of immigration reform.

Roland stated that we will continue to see this case move through the court system. Arizona’s Republican Governor Jan Brewer has made it clear that she intends to file an appeal with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Roland states there is no doubt that this is going to go all the way to the Supreme Court.

Roland explained that we have to have immigration reform in this country. “What we have right now is a bunch of punk politicians in Washington DC, who are so afraid to tackle this issue, because nobody can figure out really what is a win and what is a loss”.

Roland said, “Let’s cut to the chase, they are not going anywhere. ten to twelve million people somehow are not going to get up tomorrow and leave the United States. So we are going to continue to have this problem with illegal immigrants in this country as long as we have politicians on the federal level who have no guts to confront the issue”.

This is a political move by the Republicans in Arizona. Illegals have been there for decades making the white business men rich with their cheap labor. There was no problem then. Now that the tables are turned and a few Mexicans are making profits and the economy is low it is bash the Mexican time. In addition they have banned any type of Mexican, Black or Asian history classes in schools. Blacks should be protesting this as well. Kids do better when they know theycome from a great people/history. Why the need to take that away from them? There seems to be a hidden agenda. This is what is meant by taking back the country. Taking it back to the 1950's when minorities were ignored in textbooks and we had a Eurocentric education .
