Talk radio host Dr. Laura Schlessinger has issued an apology for saying the N-word several times during an on-air conversation with a caller this week.
“I talk every day about doing the right thing. And yesterday, I did the wrong thing,” Schlessinger said on her radio show Wednesday.
“I was attempting to make a philosophical point, and I articulated the N -word all the way out — more than one time. And that was wrong. I’ll say it again — that was wrong.”
Schlessinger was referring to a call she got on her show Tuesday from an African-American woman who said she was married to a white man and was getting fed up with her husband allowing his family and friends to say things that she felt were racist.

Above and beyond all the arrogance, I'm going to side with the Doctor. I think she wasn't wrong in telling the caller that “it depends on how you say it.” Because I hear it, but I say something. I don't like it, even if I used it. So that is what the doctor is saying the problem was. She was basically telling her stop being naive in the 21st Century. If your man, husband, spouse, or significant other is expressly using the n word in discussion openly with his friends and you don't like it. Say something, but don't look for a reaction to what he or she has said or the answer as to how to deal with it. You already know how to deal with it. You don't like it, and it's not okay. Regardless if you say it anywhere else, just not here. African americans need to stop whining about when someone says it, because we've allowed without check our young children, boys, and girls to now upbring the N word as sometype of 1 blood, 1 brother or 1 sister. So the doctor was right, and to say don't NAACP me was just a great line. Now if she thinks of the NAACP as a racially motivated savior to the most denied; well that would be her own racially motived racism inside. Big deal! But this is the sentiment of the Nation because we allowed Conservative Talk Show Host to get away with calling the President of the United States, a Monkey, a Marxist, a Communist, a Socialist, a YOU LIE! YOU LIE! brown skin, brown eyes, Professor trying to go through the backdoor of his America. Challenging the 14th Amendment in such a hostile secularized manner. Those “chickens are coming home to roost” right before our eyes, and we are stuck in suspension of disbelief like the people of Germany prior to 1944! What's up my… with a A!

The job cuts by city and county governments are helping offset modest private-sector employment gains, restraining broader job growth. “They’ll continue to be a drag on the overall (employment) numbers and the economy,” says Wells Fargo economist Mark Vitner.
