‘Takers’ Emerges Weekend Box Office Winner

The high class heist film, “Takers, starring an ensemble cast including Zoe Saldana, Matt Dillon, Idris Elba, Paul Walker, Chris Brown and rapper T.I. inched out “The Last Exorcism” to take box office receipts its opening weekend. The film was produced by William Packer (Follow Will Packer @willpowerpacker).
Initial reports had placed “Exorcism” as the top film at the box office before revised numbers released on Monday showed that “Takers” raked in $20.5 million while “Exorcism” took in $20.4 million according to Entertainment Weekly.
