Roland Martin appears on AC360 with host Anderson Cooper, David Gergen and Cliff May CNN to discuss the controversy and bigotry being aimed at Muslims as a result of the Ground Zero Mosque.

Roland said, “This is one of those tough times where we have to ask ourselves how much do we really love and cherish our own US Constitution. We can not sit here and call ourselves a nation that supports our troops fighting for freedom … when we want to ignore this very freedom here. This is a tough choice when you are an American.”

I'm just disgusted by this whole stupid debate, discussion, whatever it is y'all wanna call it. Why does everyone wants to build God a house, a church or a mosque? why should we spend so much money on building the Gold we've never seen anything here on earth when our children are dying of starvation? Y'all think that's what he really wants from us? Why should we fight and kill each other over this? If the creator of the universe sits in Heaven and rests his feet on the earth, y'all think any man made structure can hold him? Go back to the story of the good Samaritan and you'll know what your God's desire is. God only wants to live in our hearts but we have no room there for him, no, our hearts are filled with hatred and murderous intentions, so we're trying to put Him a structure that won't last. Shame on us! I hate Man made religion, it makes me sick! There's only one true religion and it's the only one God Himself practices, it's call LOVE, any other religion it's just tearing us apart.

Like President John F. Kennedy, I too believe in the absolute separation of church (more accurately 'religion') and state. Furthermore, I believe in a future American, if not world, society, where one has the freedom from involuntarily being proselytized to by ANY AND ALL past, current, or future religions or representatives thereof!

Additionally, I think that religious institutions (churches, mosques, synagogues etc.) and their representatives should be held criminally responsible for any violations of societies laws against hate speech, or the encouragement/propagation or (perhaps especially) the non-deterence of violence and/or societal intolerance or encroachment upon a societies inalienable personal freedoms granted to its citizens which can only be truly monitored by requiring all religious institutions and representatives to be held under involuntary federal watchdog scrutiny. We can not let the religious appeasers and apologists, such as those in the Netherlands government, allow for a new precedent to be set which will allow for the eventual erosion of our freedom of speech, assembly, and press, etc.

“All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing”
    -Edmund Burke
