The U.S. State Department is evacuating Americans out of Libya by ferry today, where violence is escalating after Col. Moammar Gadhafi’s defiant speech Tuesday.

“I will not leave the country. I will die as a martyr in the end,” Gadhafi said in a taped speech on state television.

Today, Americans in Libya will be transported by ferry to the Mediterranean island of Malta.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton denounced the violence for the first time on camera Tuesday.

ROLAND S. MARTIN: Football Power In Texas Has Shifted To Houston

By Roland S. Martin Editor-in-Chief RolandMartinReports.com I hate the Dallas Cowboys. No, I don’t dislike them. I flat out cannot stand anything about the Dallas Cowboys.
