TJMS: Philly Public School Superintendent Institutes Major Education Reforms Gets Results And Bomb Threat

Jacque Reid sits in for the vacationing Roland Martin and talks with Dr. Arlene Ackerman, Superintendent of The School District of Philadelphia. Dr. Ackerman discussed some of the reforms that have been instituted in the Philadelphia public school system, the importance of parent involvement, launching the parent university and a recent bomb threat that was made against her and her staff.

New employment numbers came out Friday showing the economy continues to recover and continues to add jobs at a pretty healthy pace. There were 233,000 private-sector jobs created in February.
