911 Call: Woman Slaps Husband For Refusing Sex

Horry County, SC – Most emergency dispatchers are not expecting a phone call requesting to go to jail. In recently released 911 tapes, it is clear the emergency operator did not expect to hear the bizarre reasoning behind the emergency call, all of which originated in the bedroom.

The Horry County Police Department responded to a domestic incident in mid-June after a woman called 911 saying her husband wanted her to go to jail after she slapped him when he reportedly refused to have sex with her.

According to a police report, officers responded to a home along Strand Drive around noon on June 17 in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers were told by the wife that she and her husband were arguing and she slapped him.

She also told officers her husband was going to call the police, so she would do it for him, according to the report.
