    Dear Roland,

While I am glad that cheating on school testing is being exposed what can be done to make some other metric besides just test scores matter for school performance.  Would it be worth measuring student behaviors, post high school employment, parent involvement, increased participation in volunteer activities, better health and other things besides test scores.  This would be one way to keep the Beverly Halls of the world from gaming the system, lying and saying anyone who questioned her results of hurting poor black children when really she was the one hurting them.  Our politicians hailed her as a hero but we know they are about the last people our children should emulate.

ROLAND S. MARTIN: Football Power In Texas Has Shifted To Houston

By Roland S. Martin Editor-in-Chief RolandMartinReports.com I hate the Dallas Cowboys. No, I don’t dislike them. I flat out cannot stand anything about the Dallas Cowboys. The year they went 1-15, I was ticked they won that one game. When they played in those three Super Bowls in the ’90s, I rooted hard for the opposition. Hell, I hate them more than the Ku Klux Klan! That’s why I take great pleasure in seeing the transfer of power in the [...]
