Roland, I have enjoyed your political commentary. You are sharp and witty.

But your thinly veiled animosity towards the gay community should be addressed in a more substantive manner. This non-apology isn’t going to cut it.

Gay and transgender Americans deal with deeply embedded hostility on a regular basis. A man of your stature and influence should not be adding to those burdens. If anything, you should be seeking to lessen them.

Please reflect upon the importance of treating all peoples with respect and decorum. Belittling others based on any singular characteristic is beneath you.
